About Us

CEM was founded in 2002 with the mission to build long-term relationships with companies and facilities associated with the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and research community.

Our founder and President, Jeff Raposa has been working in the industry for over 25 years. His first industry job experience came in the early 1990s while working at such companies as Genentech, Amgen, Roche, IDEC Pharmaceuticals and Baxter Pharmaceuticals to name a few.

During these years, Jeff gained valuable knowledge through direct participation in all phases of regulatory compliance requirements. Jeff’s commitment to becoming an expert in this industry lead him to become one of the first individuals nationwide to achieve accreditations with both NEBB and NSF.

Many of our facilities and companies we service today have seen a significant increase of regulatory compliance demands over the past 20+ years. Regulatory agencies such as OSHA, FDA, USP and Joint Commission have adopted and enforced more stringent guidelines.

CEM has partnered with many of our customers to help meet these regulatory requirements. The services provided by CEM are conducted in accordance with appropriate standards and industry guidelines. CEM provides a high level of excellence through every detail of our work.

CEM specializes in a variety of the testing, certification and calibration services. Some of the items currently serviced include cleanrooms, biological safety cabinets, laboratory fume hoods, laminar flow devices and various laboratory devices. We also specialize in compliance testing for797 for our pharmaceutical clients performing sterile compounding.

We service any size facility, whether you have one piece of equipment needing certification or you have a large research facility requiring more extensive testing. From consulting and building, to providing a full range of troubleshooting and repair services, we have the expertise and experience.
